Some examples of our previous design work.Extension to Victorian Cottage
The owners of this period property in the heart of Witchford required further space and another bedroom, but did not want to move out of this prestigious location. The obvious solution was to extend the house to ensure it continued to meet there needs.
After a considered consultation to ascertain their requirements, a planning application and the associated drawings were compiled and approved before submission, Planning consent was agreed and the subsequent drawings for Building Regulations drafted.
The owners are now enjoying the increased living space, safe in the knowledge that their "New" home will fit their requirements for some time to come.
Extended Family Home
Having recently bought the house, the clients had always intended to extend the property to provide much needed additional space for their growing family. GSD met with the clients and proposed not only a side extension but also a extension to the rear of the property to allow them to maximise the potential of the space available to them. Planning consent was duly granted based on the design and access statement and the drawings provided and building regulation drawings drafted to allow the build to fully comply. Needless to say the clients are delighted with the end result!
